IMO, a good set of flowing heads is the best bang for your buck when doing a performance build with all other things properly matched. I wasn't going to touch mine, but went ahead and had them done because I was already there. Glad I did! When I saw the new porting and valves compared to the stock heads, it was an OMG moment. But, I was doing some 2000 heads which are notoriously choked off from the factory.
'16 Low Rider S? You've already got the 110? Clean up them heads and don't look back.

The kit has a warranty so break it in right and then ride it hard; don't beat on it, but put the crank to the test. If it tweaks, you want it to tweak while under warranty.
Complete the recipe-
Head work- and if you like to spin it up add roller rockers.
You said you want bragging rights?
That 117" done right with pro ported 110" heads will smoke most any Harley you roll up on. Make sure as said, that you hit it early and often so if the crank goes south, the MOCO will replace it free...

Yes, I will. But there is no big hurry. Right now I've got a 7 year warranty. HD extended. A bit pricey but I think it's worth it. I won't have to worry about a thing.

Oh boy. Back to the reading. I'm not even sure I know what those are. (I think for faster/smoother valve action). Anyway, thanx. More stuff I need to study and learn. Roller rockers... Roller rockers...
Head work definitely frees it up a bit... for reference, looking through the FuelMoto 107" dyno numbers the bikes that had the heads done consistently put out about +10hp/tq more than stock heads.
...of course to the earlier points, it needs to be a balanced package.
Any thoughts about having a high volume oil pump installed while its apart?

As a matter of fact, I'm looking at oil pumps right now. It just makes sense, right? Checking out the SE. $430 for a really nice upgrade.
