Default Another Cam swap question

I'm getting ready to do my first cam swap and I've watched videos and read a ton on here and for the life of my I haven't found an answer. When I'm putting the cam plate back into the cam chest after swapping cams does the front cylinder need to be at TDC or the rear cylinder? Or does it even matter. I've watched the s&s video multiple times and I'm either missing it or he doesn't say.
Your input would be greatly appreciated. Oh yeah it's a TC96 2009 model.
Thanks

Get a service manual.

If the cams are correctly timed, i.e., the dots on the inner sprockets aligned, you half way there. You can install the cam plate, doesn't matter where pistons are. Next step is aligning the timing marks on the pinion sprocket and rear cam sprocket; if those are aligned, the rear cylinder will be at TDC. See the attached photo.

Thank you. Stupid me. I've got a service manual and didn't think of opening it. I've just been reading on here and watching videos. Thanks again
