Any top end "kit" can be made to produce eye catching numbers but the OP also had concerns in regards to reliability in which I would also putting the squeeze on a stock bottom end to get em. OP, I went with R/R cycles for my hp fix great bunch of guys and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
First, the OP's question regarding reliability was specific to the 120R and it appears that he has come to the conclusion that the 120R is probably not the best crate motor option in that regard.
I was not responding to the OP but to Bounder who, apparently, is considering the 110" Stage V Tire Shredder kit. I have not installed one but am familiar with a dealer that has about 70 or 80 110/117 bolt in kits under their belt in various configurations and all are running without issues (yeah, cranks are holding up fine) and the healthier Stage V kits are making some serious TQ/HP for about half the cost of a 124" crate motor.
Any crank can be tweaked; '04 and '07 were the worst for HD but the later cranks have been holding up well in modified motors in spite of all the anecdotal blabber on this and other forums that, sometimes, make HD crank failure into a pandemic akin to Chicken Little and the falling sky.

Whaaaaaat! You mean to tell me that 107" motor that makes 125/125 has not tweaked the stock crank? Even if you run it hard from time to time? Gosh, maybe you should buy a lottery ticket!
I hammered it off the line last summer and when I hit second it brought the front end way up in the air. So far so good. If it breaks its all your fault for telling me its possible.
I bought a lottery ticket once.. didn't win. Decided to save my money for the "Harley Stock Crank Lottery" So far I am a Winner!!
i had a HQs 107 2009 RG 121tq 110hp - not one motor issue -- no crank work -- I can attest to the quality of S&S crate motors -- three years with 124 at 10.5 with 585 cams -- no issues runs much cooler than any of my previous built motor bikes and certainly much cooler than my stock 2016 CVORG
