Has anyone used Andrews 55 cam in a 95" electra glide?
Builder is planning a 95" with weisco pistons, headwork, upgraded oil pump new cyco tensioners, SERT.
Have S&S powertune duals with crusher slip ons and arlen ness air cleaner
I was thinking andrews 37 cams, What are the pros and cons of each?
What would be a good 95" build?
What would be a good 98" build?

Nothing wrong with the 55 cams but they are more of a higher rpm/horsepower cam where the 37 is more of a low end and midrange cam. There is an application for either depending on the builder's goals. I would wonder why Wiseco pistons when the cast SE flat top pistons are adequate for the job.
Really no difference between the 95" and 98" build except, of cours, 3 cubic inches. What ever you build for 95" can be built for 98"; displacement is the only difference. If boring to 95", why not go to 98"; three cubic inches and the bit of HP/TQ that goes with those 3 cubic inches is basically free................
I put Andrews 55's in my wifes '05 Road King. She's small and I didn't want to give her a cam that came on early so I chose the 55's for her. Her build is 98", we did some headwork and it has the stock throttle body and injectors. Really it was a pretty basic build but the results were good. She runs a Drago's Dragula 2 into 1 pipe and I tuned it with a TTS Mastertune.

Thanks! Is there a cam where the torque curve mimics the hp? Will the 37 cam do that ?

WOW !! Seems like a strong 95 incher to me though the torque is a bit late for my riding style.
The headwork must make a nice difference.

It's a 98". The torque coming in late was by design. Beings it was built for my wife to ride I didn't want to give her to much low end torqe. She's small and the Road King is a big bike for her and I wanted something that wasn't going to get away from her in normal riding but something she could have fun with when she's racing around with me and my riding buddies.

Another VERY strong, smooth combination is this:
Our Stage II Torquemaster Heads
Bore to 98"
Andrews 26 cams
CR at 9.65
Great touring build also.
