If vent is clogged pressure will build inside the tranny forcing the fluid up the cable causing it to leak. I have seen it many times. All the info I have for ya...Good luck!

I will check it again today, maybe it was just residual fluid left in the cable?
Did the o ring fix the problem, was it residual fluid?? I just noticed a small drip on my Rockers clutch cable....

New o ring did not fix the problem. Don't think it is residual?
Breather tube is also clear, cable is not rubbing anything. May wind up replacing the cable its getting old. Don't know what else to do.

Need advice.
Mine did the same thing...I needed to replace the cable. If oil is inside the cable it will need to be replaced

Just a heads up, my bike did the same thing, thought it was leaking too. Happened to be cleaning all the oil off the cable to see exactly where it was coming from. Checked it the next day and damn there was another quarter size puddle of oil on the floor but when I checked my cable at the housing it was bone dry. Turned out the oil filter was just looks enough that it was leaking a little bit and running down the cable. I wouldn't believe it if it hadn't happened to me since it looked like it couldn't have run that far up the cable but it did. It's worth a shot to look
