That's clear. Yeah, I had absolutely no experience to fall back on before this, so I was trying to keep it as simple and easy as possible. Cutting out the pushrods seemed to be what everything I read said to do, so that's what I did. I have no idea whether or not the 48H cams would have worked with the OEM pushrods, but I had already purchased the S&S adjustable pushrods, so that's what I used. The bike runs great, so I'm happy with the route I took and the parts I selected.
