It's hard to have it all. If you are on a budget but feel the need to do "something" - you can get a used 48 Cam for $100.00 in the Dyna Classified. Maybe that will hold you over until you can go bigger.

In my 07 deuce I did exactly what you're talking about. I used woods 555 cams and ran them one season on the stock 96 then built my 107 the following winter. Bike didn't run bad with the 555's but the bottom end was definitely lacking. Get up in the rpm's a bit and it took off pretty good.

I understand that I'm asking for insane advise I'm willing to deal with better but suffered performance now with a diffrent cam ment for a later build as I myself dont know when I will be doing the build just trying to boost hp and tq now with smaller stuff that I can still use later I'm thinking about getting a used se255 off eBay for now and maybe doing a 555 or bigger later with the bore kit and head work or level b or c heads. Bike only has 9500 miles wanting to get some life out of it before tearing into it completely.

Easy to say that now until a guy no a TC88 with a BB kit smokes you. If you want to boost TQ/HP now, get the right cam for you current configuration; Andrews 48 and a good tune will wake that motor up. Trying to find a cam that works well in both configurations is a waste of time IMHO.
