As told to us from S&S, the Premiums are all hand selected and checked/verified, the std.(which are tougher than most suspect) are not.
We carry both in stock, as well as S&S Evo lifters, 24/7.

I installed S&S premiums in my noisy 110" and the valve train is now nice and quiet.

So is it worth the extra money to go with the premium?

The S&S standard lifters, as I found out today, are made in Mexico. Asked them directly and you can see their response in the chat box in the lower right hand corner. The Premiums are US made. It's up to you to decide if that's worth paying twice as much. I don't mind paying more for American made if the materials and craftsmanship are better. Although twice as much is a steep increase. It's up to you if the $$ amount is worth it.

Nothing wrong with S&S standards, have them in both the twin cam and evo.
