I am going to get a Dyna Low rider S. When I do I am going to have the dealership install the 117 kit. I currently have a 2001 Road Glide TC88 can I use the stock 110 cylinders on my 88? I know it would take machine work but is it possible?

You would have to remove the motor and have the cases bored for the 110 cylinders. Very costly for the performance gains.

The 110'' cylinders have a 4" bore and would bring your 88" up to 100" but as previously posted, installing those cylinders would require remove the lower unit for case boring. You can bore your 88" cylinders to 3.938" and bring the 88" up to 98'' much cheaper. Additionally, not sure of the availability of 4" bore pistons for the 4' stroke motor.
Bore your existing cylinders to 3.938" to yield 98".
A 117" will warrant the use of a 4 3/8" crank assembly, and a set of 4.125" bore cylinders, requiring case boring.
130-135 hp, and 135-140 ft/lbs of pump-gas-friendly power within reach, set up, and tuned correctly.

thats what I am going to do when I can afford is 98 on my 01 TC 88. The 117 is going to be in the Dyna Lowrider S that comes with the 110 but I am going to have the harley 117 kit installed when I buy the bike.
I was just curious if the Stock 110 parts would work on my TC 88 but apparently not with out allot of expensive work.
