Yeah I can see that solving the base issue alright.....
If he's already splitting the cases, why not go bigger while split. The cost isn't that much more. I had a crank shift, knew it was going to address it. Found it was a good excuse to build a 120, much more fun than the 95 I had.

Yeah, of course the base issue, the cause for the unfortunate situation must be addressed in the process; goes without saying.
Crank is being replaced so why not stroke the motor now; S&S crank won't cost the much more and free labor. Cases are split so why not case bore for bigger cylinders whether the OP chooses to install bigger bore cylinders or not now, he has the option in the future. Please note that the "go big" crowd did qualify the suggestion contingent on the availability of funds.
