was wondering what's the proper adjustment is ? I have a 2012 Dyna 103 I put Andrews's 510 lift cams in it . My friend who has done push rods before set them for me . He put them at "zero lash" he calls it and then adjusted them out 3 full turns is this correct? Just want to make sure they are opening correctly. There is no noise or anything by the way. Just making sure I'm good. Thanks!
Which S&S pushrods are they?
Divide 1 by the number of threads per inch on the pushrods and multiply that to get to .140 preload. That number is how many turns your buddy should've set them to.

I went to the S&S website and found this. These Pushrods require the use of pushrod covers for 84-99 Evo's. Your pushrod could be hitting the tubes.... You're adjustment sounded ok... Have you opened the covers to see if they are hitting.

there not hitting on anything or making noise I did look up adjustment on the S&s site and it said turn them 4 turns or 24 flats I only turned them 3 full turns. When we put them in we had to remove the lower cover of the push rod and feed them in all at once it was a pain in the *** . But there working my concern is if at 3 turns are they opening the valves all the way and properly

Do the 27 flats from 0 lash. Just make sure they are indeed 32 tip. Count them if you have to.. You currently are at .0936". thats less than the oem pushrod preload. 27 flats will put you at .140" it's where you need to be...
