Tommy, 62/64 is imo too big. Se 58 or hpi, and 5.3 injectors would probably be fine. Opinions may vary. Five o is a little cheaper than too on the injectors.

lastly, I don't want those relief valves if I installed the 570c easy start cams as told by my builder, is it ok to leave them, I just think over time they'll get brittle, and can break, thats the whole easy start idea?I wanna plug them, I just don't know thread size, looks metric my indy said, but he's not touching them.

46mm on stock bike. I ran hillsides stage IV heads @ 11.1 with a 55 HPI with 4.9 injectors and 615/585 cams on my 107 and it was a great combination 129/125. you send me a note on my you tube video that you were only going with scotts stage I heads anything over a 55 mm will be way to much, what did Scott tell you to use ? all ways remember going bigger is not all ways the best plan!

I agree with Todd. I could have went bigger but my guy said " might be better on the strip or show a couple hp at redline but down low you would probably lose."

Look, as far as the manual compression releases go, don't worry about them. Just leave them alone. You'll forget they're evwn there after a while if you don't need them. They won't get brittle and break. My bike has them - I got them from Hillside as a matter of fact, about 7 years ago - and I use them every time I start my bike. No issues whatsoever. If you don't need them, consider it a bonus. If you ever change cams, you have more choices available to you.

As for break-in, this is a topic of much discussion and controversy on the internet. It's really not that big a monster. Ride the bike easy, varying your speed - try not to ride at sustained single speed cruising like on the interstate for hours on end; keep going through the gears but don't hammer it. Try to keep rpm no higher than 3500 or so. Periodically decelerating quickly - "chopping the throttle" - will pull oil up onto the cylinder walls; this will help keep the rings and cylinders lubed. Change your oil at 500 miles. Do it some more but now you can be a little more liberal with rpm and speed. Look on S&S's website and download the instructions for one of their engine kits. Read and follow the break-in instructions. Everything I just typed is paraphrasing the S&S break-in instructions as I remember it.

If you haven't put a 62 or whatever throttle body on your 107 - I do have the right thread, right? This is a 107? - don't! My 107 has a 55mm tb and I wouldn't want any bigger! It made just ad much peak power with a 48mm; the 55 made it more responsive and more power sooner. But if it was any bigger, it would be very twitchy and difficult to ride smoothly. I ride my bike - a lot - so I want to be able to ride it smoothly.

As far as injectors go, my 107 uses stock 2002 injectors. It made 120hp on a local dyno and is not starving for fuel, ever. I am pretty sure those injectors are 4.2. So, based on that, I have to believe you do NOT need bigger injectors. Some may disagree, but the bottom line is, if the injectors are operating at less than 100% duty cycle and your motor is not starving for fuel, you don't need bigger. Period.

I hope you're happy with your build when it's all said and done.

me too, thanks for that confidence inspiring words on the compression releases...I don't plan on going any bigger, this is it, I've dumped now 15k since I bought last year for 13,500,,and I'm not done, Rims, and these UK bars, and some paint, but at this point I'm at almost 30k for a 2008 rocker c/breakout....before build bike had a tad under 3k miles, bought it with 1800k miles, so its cherry as cherry, not a scratch, looks new...I will take your advise and look into the SS break in, but I heard from quite a few people after 50 miles, change the oil for the metal particles from rings etc....I have that DK re-usuable oil filter, so my filter has a extra magnet along with plug....
