I'd like to know the piston to wall clearance and what the spec is for that piston.

Those clearances will vary from cast to forged and vendor to vendor. Search "piston to cylinder" clearance and you will get more information on the subject than you want.

Yes, old thread but interesting nonetheless. Looking at that dyno sheet I wouldn’t think it would run that well with that big dip in the lower end. Maybe that tune helped with the engine demise. I wonder what the final outcome was.

Old thread but classic issue, 27 miles on a new motor and slapped on a dyno and the owner wonders why it **** itself.

What does this have to do with anything? Mine was "slapped on the dyno" with 0 miles.

Motor life is directly tied to break in or lack of when **** goes sideways as many an engine has done, been in this game far to long to believe otherwise. You have your beliefs and I have mine and we'll leave it at that.
