98 Electra glide mmfi
I have a 98 Electra glide with the mmfi, bought a new motor because mine has stripped two of the head bolts out. But this motor came off a 98 low rider and its a carb motor and it doesn't have a spot for the crank sensor can the case be drilled for the crank sensor? Any help would be appreciated

There are several threads for converting from EFI to Carb as I don't believe you can add the Crank Sensor?

I'm wanting to stay with efi don't know it the carb engine had the gear on the crankshaft like the efi engine does. Or if the crank sensor can be tricked to think it's working
Reluctor teeth are most likely not present on the flywheel you purchased. You will not be able to drill a hole and add a sensor. Even if you could, it would require crankcase disassembly. You can't "trick" a crank sensor - it gives specific information to the ECM about piston location, and is used to control injection and ignition.
