If you are going to attempt replacing the fuel pump, make sure you have a fire extinguisher close by.........

How do you know you need a fuel pump?

Sorry for the intense line of questioning, but you have to understand, this is coming from a guy who put an allen wrench in the intake to hold the venturi open.
