I was in the process of doing the cam chain tensioner upgrade kit for TC88. Apparently I didn't have the bearing puller tool in very well and when pulling the inner cam bearing out the bearing fell apart inside the cam chest. There was a clump of a few of the needles in the bearing hole i pulled out with a magnet. I have found 20 of the needles so far, but I think there should be a couple more. I'm not sure just how many there should be. I made a little magnet tool to try and reach down the bearing hole but it's too tight. I can't seem to get anything in that hole to fish out any more of the pieces out. I'm pretty terrified of what ya'll are going to say to do next. Any clever ideas to retrieve the remaining pieces??
Because you are hitting the flywheel. I believe INA had 23 bearings. Only way to look down into the case to see is to pull a cylinder or split the case.

Thanks for the number count on the bearings. Ill probably split the case. Better safe than sorry

To 100% verify just get someone here to count or get a junk one from the dealer. You have to remove the jugs to split cases so I would look down in at that point and compare all parts retrieved to an assembled bearing. I don't have any laying around or I would count for you. Gaskets are cheap - don't worry. Also, I have several sets so we can get you the good guy deal - we will get you through this.
