oil leaking after oil pump change

I have a 2003 Low Rider. Just changed out the cams, chest and oil pump. Adjusted everything and started up, test ride around the block, come back and oil is coming out of the bottom of the all 4 pushrod covers and also from the oil filter were it mounts against the adapter. Everything is tight. I probably have to go back into the camchest but any ideas what I should look for. Its a new feuling camchest and oil pump. She never ran so quiet before.

Sounds as if you have a breather problem? (timed venting)
Or oil pump hose mixed up?

Did you replace the cam plate? Could be the pressure relief valve stuck in the closed position. When installing a new cam plate I always pull the pressure relief piston from the bore, polish it up a bit and make sure it moves freely in the bore.

If you have oil leaking from the filter, then as djl says, you likely have a stuck relief valve.. It's also likely the reason why the lifters are so quiet..
