best tq cam for 110 engine

Default best tq cam for 110 engine
Hi am need of some advice for a performance cam with great torque that comes on early for a S&S 110 engine 10.7 compression , heads worked, high lift springs to .600 lift.

I currently have Woods TW-8-6 cams in there.


There are so many so gets a little confusing.

Looks like a great setup. I've attached a dyno sheet from a 110 using S&S HP103 cams which are similar to your grind (I Think). How does this compare to your curve?

You already have killer tq cams and 10.7 is right where u want it

ok i had it dyno’d and seems the torque comes on late. Im getting it tuned with tts Mastertune hopefully they can correct it

your curve looks much better comes on earlier . I am getting my retuned with tts mastertune. Here is my dyno

Advance the cams +4* and it will come on sooner. About 300 to 400 R's.. The crank sprocket will have a tighter fit also. The stock one on mine was sloppy.

Oh I see, the wood 8 was in the full 110 build already. Misread the post. Maybe I’ve seen the tw8 with a tad bit more compression and a little better low rpm. What exhaust are you using?

Looks like maybe a really bad exhaust system. Probably not a cam issue at all.
