Engine Mechanical TopicsDiscussion for motor builds, cams, head work, stripped bolts and other engine related issues. The good and the bad. If it goes round and around or up and down, post it here.
Hey folks, got a new build in the works. Was wondering if anyone was willing to put out some HP and Torque estimates. I will be able to confirm the output once i get it tuned up, but i kinda wanted to hear what you all thing it might do, so here's the list.
hybrid timken style 02 engine cases...left side timken from 01, right side 20-03??
4.375 stroker crank with 3.937 bore, CP10.75-1 pistons, so 107
VeeTwin Racing Stage 2 heads, 06 later casting,(Kirby's stuff has worked outgreat for me so far!!)w/compression releases
50mm SE cable throttle body with 4.9 injectors
Tman625 cams
Old School White Bro's E-pipe
SS teardrop AC, slotted cover
tuned with Powervision on my in house dyno,by me.
ok, so what do you think it will do?

ps A motor going in a bagger
I am thinking the numbers might be close to square and HP might be higher than TQ; it will depend on the tune. I believe 120TQ/125HP is possible; certainly in that neighborhood.
Traditionally the A motors do a bit better without having to drag the balance shafts around and if I remember right we are at only 10.5:1 on this one, your pipe is more tunable than mine so I would expect you to do a bit better than this one
thanks for the responses so far i'm still getting parts together, but when i get it assembled and installed, i'll report back with the results. please feel free to keep adding to the list.

The assembled crank and cases are back, heads and cylinders on the way to kirby, cams and throttlebody, and wiring stuff is all here. Will report when assembled and tuned.m
