Failing oil pump? Oil is thinner when it's hot, I don't know if it's enough that it would make a difference... Don't suppose you have an oil pressure gauge you can hook up to it to eliminate it from a possible diagnosis
No, but I did install a high flow oil pump when I did the 107 kit.

what is strange is the ticking doesnt start until the engine is hot and then only at idle until about 1300 rpm and goes away, or I just cant hear it anymore.
I believe its referred to as lifter bleed-down. I used to experience it on my Road King while running synthetic oil. It finally went away after I stopped using synthetic and went to conventional oil. It took a few hundred miles before it happened. From what I read on the forum this is a common occurrence.
I would check that an adjustable pushrod nut didn't loosen up, or they need adjustment. That would account for the noise as the engine grows with heat.
