Mine does it. I figured push rod. Never got around to fixing it but will someday. I'm not worried about it causing a problem.

No, but I did install a high flow oil pump when I did the 107 kit.

I believe its referred to as lifter bleed-down. I used to experience it on my Road King while running synthetic oil. It finally went away after I stopped using synthetic and went to conventional oil. It took a few hundred miles before it happened. From what I read on the forum this is a common occurrence.

I would check that an adjustable pushrod nut didn't loosen up, or they need adjustment. That would account for the noise as the engine grows with heat.
