yep 100000% Ive got the studs and the 16 point fasteners left over from the cam plate dowel upgrade not those studs arent long enough to bottom out in the Chanel I might feel better with longer studs thoughts ?
Depending on the cam plate you use, you may have to relieve the area where the ARP nut goes. Some of the holes only have clearance for the hex head bolt.

I did my feuling cam plate awhile back ARP worked just fine
Clearly to long of screw was used in this hole. It cant hurt to try the goodson that prodrag mentioned, I would drill to small holes from the side into the crack top and bottom to try to get the glue in the crack with a syringe maybe even getting some in the threads and put the stud in that u speak of. Dont fill the thread hole with glue, that will cause it to break out more. Also the idea of vise grips(as mentioned) to bring the crack in some after that. I think u could get away with half torque on this stud and still not leak.
Welding should be last resort
I would put welding it at the top of the list. No way would I trust jb weld or another type of epoxy to hold that in place. Maybe it's because I've been a sheetmetal worker/ welder for many moons but I would have no problem welding that and sleeping well at night never worrying about it again. Just my opinion.

so I ordered 2 products - Goodsons & HY-POXY ALUMABOND I wouldve preferred having it welded but can find someone who knows there **** in my areas let alone someone who will come to me and do it so if there anyway in NJ / NYC area please inbox message me !
almost looks like a hydraulic blow out oil in the bolt hole then the bolt goes in , tries to compress the oil and boom goes the casting always blow the holes out with air before putting bolts in
Unfortunately I'm about 3 hours north of the city...otherwise I'd help you out. Whatever you end up using like everything else the key is the prep work. Make sure it's beyond clean and just take your time. I'm sure there's good stuff available it's just my mind is programmed to weld stuff lol ...good luck I hope it works out.

thats how I found it by blowing out the thread channels I worked for Harley its common practice this whole thing is just aggravating and the last thing I needed at this moment between this and the fact I just finished my sportster engine build only to find out my $750 bassini pipes wont accommodate my forward controls and now I have to choose between an ugly exhaust system on a beautiful bike or comfort is just more then enough ****ery !! My buddy whos an amazing aluminum welder moved 2 months ago Ive got no one local so my just trying to work with what I can
So got the goodson product I can already see this is going to be problematic because of the thickness of this product it will not be able to be pumped into that crack Id have to cut a lot of the supporting metal thats left out and even with a syringe it would be impossible to draw it into the syringe well Im testing it out on 3 different conditions to see how it goes I was reading the other product I ordered will arrive Thursday that stuff is very loose as first and thickens quickly I have a feeling thats going to be the ticket but lets see Im not rushing into anything I wish I had someone local who could weld this case up properly ughhhhhh well lets see how the test play out
Welded case up good as new ! Id never have felt
completely comfortable with the epoxy glad I did it the right way sadly I purchased about $80 worth of products that wouldnt have done anything other then fail and or buy me some time but at what cost ! Thank you to everyone who shared their input ! Ill share finished product pics shortly
