Sent in a brand new S&S Timken crank to Dark Horse to be balanced for the new 110 pistons and welded. They disassembled, balanced, reassemble, pro plugged and welded.

Wow, is that necessary on an S&S crank? On the other hand, why not just purchase a Darkhorse crank? How much did that cost...
$738 including freight. I already had the crank which I got a good deal on. Indy doing work suggested that I get it welded. Figured at this point might as well have it welded and blueprinted to my exact build. Dark Horse crank would have been around the same overall cost. Money at this point is moot point. I will have roughly 38000 total invested in a bike that at best is worth 15000 why stop now?
