Default Compensator

So while building my new engine, I have come to the point of the compensator. I currently have a factory compensator and looking at the Dark Horse Man O War compensator, but was informed this was a failed design and has caused lots of vibration with big power engines. So, should I use a compensator, the Dark Horse, or Compensator Eliminator? Is there anyone on here that has run big power with a solid sprocket or the Dark Horse? Can you elaborate on your experiences please?

If the Darkhorse is a failed design, then the hub in your rear wheel is a failed design as that is the concept.

Where did you hear the darkhorse man o war was a failed design?
It was too new a year ago for me to dump that kind of money but it sounded promising...
The only thing they weren't sure about when I talked to them was the longetivity of the center hub that would require it to be sent back to them for repair.

I'm not running BIG power but I ride it hard on a 103 doing 100+/110 with the 30 tooth compensator eliminator from Evolution Industries. I'm also in a Softail, no rubber mounted engine. I have 0 negative to say about it. I feel the engine pulses at idle and really low rpm. Not a vibration by any stretch.
There are guys here running way bigger engines with 0 issues.
Personally, I have no use for a compensator. My

If you don't want the gearing change, it comes in the stock 34 tooth as well.

So what is the expected HP/TQ output?
add:
Opps, Doing a 124, going chain in the rear? Keeping the rear sprocket damper?

Expected output 140+ HP/TQ. I'm belt to the wheel and went polyurethane kit on the Cush drive.

I like stock comps with an extra small spring in the stack. I don't recommend solids for a street application and not sold on the darkhorse unit yet.

I kept the Man-O-War Compensator, completed my 124 and so far it's Smooth as Glass. The only vibration is from the Eurathane motor mount. I'm sure it will get better with a little time. Thank you Gentlemen for the information.
