According to PV the eitms was coming on around 286 deg. Which is in line with what it was originally set at. Not currently monitoring it.
on a side note I compared my prior fuel moto map and none of the parameters for “environment” have values except eitms on and off. Eitms mode 2 and 3 show zeros. The current tune has values for all parameters under that heading. Not sure if that’s a factor.
Bike modifications are SE high flow ac, S&S power tune headers and MGS mufflers, Andrews 48 cams, feuling HP+ lifters.

Late to the post but did you speak with the tuner about your fuel mileage (MPG near 50)? Just curious.

They adjusted the parameters of the eitms so it enables later. (Not a fix, just activates 10 degrees later)
As said before the bike runs really well for the upgrades it has. It got 86hp 101tq which is in-line with its upgrades.
The tuner is well known and trusted and I have to give them the benefit of the doubt.
my only real concern was the eitms enabled more frequently than before the tune.
having said that the one thing I did different was prior to the cam swap I changed to Lucas “Dino” oil. (Didn’t want to run synthetic post upgrade of cams, lifters, bearings etc.)
Not sure but could it be possible that the Dino oil contributed to my heat issue?? Always used synthetic prior.
Changing back to synthetic soon so will see.
Not too worried.
I think bike is running lean. I have put a lot of Woods cams in Twin cam bikes and never get 50mpg w them. More like 39 to 45 mpg. Also, pulling about 92hp and 105tq. What AFR are they running? I think they need to drop it, which will richen it up a bit, retune and you will see better numbers on performance. You can get 86hp 100tq out of an SE255 cam, the Andrews should be pulling better like in the low 90s.

every tuner has their own way of doing things. What I do may not be another tuners cup of tea. I will say though nobody puts a cam in to get 50mpg, they usually want to best performance out of the bike. So something just sounds off to me.
