10 ultra with 96 installed Andrews 48 cams and had it dyno tuned afterward.
it runs very well and getting close to 50 mpg (which is kinda surprising)
I have noticed that the eitms activates more often than prior to the dyno tune. Was 65 deg this evening and went for highway ride. Once back in the city it was coming on at most lights. Id think the air temp would be cool enough not to be factor.
Bike had cvo255 before and an FM power vision map.
maybe Im worrying about nothing but between the considerable mpg gain and the eitms ,it has me wondering.
Valve train is also a little noisy (sewing machine) Pushrods set to .131
I can live with sound unless someone suggest a remedy.
more concerned with the possible heat issue.
Any thoughts?

If EITMS is coming on when it didnt use to before, and youre riding in the same way, locations and conditions, you need to speak to the dyno tuner. Take it back. That cam should cool things down as should a good dyno tune. Sounds like its heated up and your surprising fuel economy could be a symptom of running lean which makes things hot. Im no expert but it sounds like a visit back to the dyno tuner with questions
you have to remember that when viewing a dyno graph like the one that you posted, you are only getting a view of what goes on during a 100% throttle, SWEEP, test. this shows the info that goes on dring THAT test only, it does NOT show what your idle mixture strenth is or what your part throttle cruising AFR values are. they have to be graphed in a bit of a different fashion in odrer to be printed out for you and also a bit of explanation is invovled.
as far as that graph, it looks pretty good so i would say that is one thing that you could cross off your list, not likely the cause of your issue.

Stopped by shop today. They felt nothing they would have done would caused the change in the eitms. They Mentioned possible issues with the sensors.?? Granted bike runs well, no popping and doesn’t feel unusually hot. Just odd as it had 255s with a canned map before. Ran an FM canned map after Andrews install and no issues with eitms until after dyno. Maybe as PH suggested the parameters got changed. I’m going to hook
PV and see what the temps are at.
Appreciate the input.
You're obviously running lean and need to do an auto tune on your power vision. As stated by another member that's a hundred percent wide open throttle pull, says nothing about your low and mid-range operation.. 60 mpg is way high.. Hi heat activated the EITMS......
50 mpg not 60.
Shops taking it back in next week to check temps and tuning.
I mistakenly called it a limp mode issue when I spoke to the shop prior. It is not that, it’s just the eitms activating at stops more often than before.
again bike performs and runs great, absolutely no popping and no felt increase in heat. Not going to start auto tuning a dyno tune. I’ll let them figure it out. That’s what I paid for . Besides they are a stand up shop, well spoken of and were quick to say bring it back in and we’ll check it out.
When you take it back, hang around and watch the AFR readings at partial throttle and cruise. I am in agreement with the idea that 50mpg, if that is an accurate reading, indicates a lean condition. I would expect some pinging as well.

Thanks, not sure the shop design is conducive to spectators but I will definitely make reference to the air/fuel at those positions. In the meantime Ive hooked up the PV and will see what the engine temp is. As stated she runs well. No pinging, no decel pop and doesnt feel hot when eitms has been activating when I didnt think it should.
