I’m not sure what the wall thickness is for sure I bought screaming eagle jugs the 3/-7/8 95 kit with the matching pistons! I did look in the spark plug holes with a bore scope did not see any scoring. The new wrist pins did go into the new pistons a little snug when I put it together tho now that u mention it I’m gonna tear the whole motor back down and start over I think ?

I might be way off the track cause it's truly hard to tell from a sound clip.. hearing it in person is really the best way to make a decision.. if you're going to tear it down and measure everything up you're going to need torque plates for the cylinders to do a bore measurement and then measure the Pistons at the proper location on the skirts to figure out what your clearance from the Piston to cylinder wall is.. or you can take it to a shop and have them check it after you tear it down.. Or a second opinion from a local Indy would probably be best...

The cylinders have some light scoring still probably junk the rings turned to the point where they lined up creating blow by. When the cyl came in I cleaned them with soap and water and gave them a light coat of oil before assembly

And they are both pointed forward?
What about the headgaskets. Do they fit over the pistons?
