I have been busy. I waited until 9:00 on Tuesday morning and stopped in at Fuel Moto (they are exactly 7 minutes from my house). They did borrow me the plate only for their bearing installer and the threads are wrong, Georges has smaller diameter rod for pushing and pulling.
They told me a FM the same thing youve suggested, freezer and a mallet and go slow. Thats how they did the first who knows how many M8s before anyone had a tool. So thats what I did and it work great. Very smooth and wasnt even scary .
Now we are on to installing the heads, the rest of valve train and exhaust
Very laborious Labor Day weekend.
thank for all the ideas
