My 2007 would take off screaming once in awhile. Turned of and on I think. Hasn't done it in years. I do clean the the port behind the air cleaner at 11 oclock. But that symptom is stalling when coasting. But maybe related. I clean mine every couple years, and been over 10 years since the idle took off. Maybe did 3-4 times.
Only thing that has changed is I clean it. But I was cleaning back then too, I believe. But I have not repalced any related parts, and have not tuned it since.

i had a VW carb with a worn throttle plate shaft holes through the body, that small air leak played havoc, had to replace it.

I've cleaned everything, Reinstalled IAC, messed with the stop screw, checked for leaks again. No change. Hooked it up to computer throttle position and IAC position are correct 🤷‍♂️.

Yeah, that's not a good fit and most definitely your problem.. Never seen a throttle plate go side to side.. Who machined it?

Yeah I'm thinking either that or a hairline Crack in the TB I can't see. I'd rather not put the guy on blast will PM you if you'd like. Anyone know any companies that bore 46mm to 50mm? Hillside still do it? Found Baisley performance online. Going to call them tomorrow.

Did you run the bike to check the iac? It should be around 30 steps at 105C. Looking at the movement I suspect it will drop to zero.

What does correct mean? If idle is high and with the way your throttle blade fits. I would assume the IAC would want to be closed. This is not correct when the ecm is in idle mode. The IAC needs to open some during idle. This way it has control over idle air. Is the IAC closing all the way and then parking in an open position with a key on cycle? You should be able to visually see this.

Assuming the facts are correct, if covering the IAC port does not change the idle, and the ECM says the IAC is at say 60 steps. There is something wrong with the IAC stepper.

If OP had the throttle body bored, what other things were done to the bike?

If you take a look at the video that he put online that shows when he's operating the throttle, you can see the throttle plate moving left and right.. There's way too much gap in there.. The motor is sucking are past the massive gaps..

I think the OP should send the throttle body out and see if somebody can make a new throttle plate for it..

Not dismissing that. At 60 steps the idle should change when the hole is covered..

BTW Where is the video?
