His dyno does seem a bit happy. It's an Axis. I don't know what or if that has something to do with it. But I would think about a cam with a later intake valve close than 35° and set your heads up accordingly. It doesn't seem Maxcell cam specs are made public. I'm sure there's one in the low to mid 40s for an IVC. I know the actual HP/Torque numbers are not a concern but if you're looking for a hotrod build,...
You'll have plenty of grunt just being a 133.
This is from the builders page. Not trying to argue this is just what they shared. do you have any suggestions for the build i have planned? Im torn on doing plate and pump breathers builder says i dont need it if i dont want it. Im not worry about money but dont want to just throw it away. Hell i put a darkhorse in it if i should and its worth the cost. Anyway thanks for chiming in.
Just finished tuning a HD 2018 Roadglide Special, Harley SE 135" crate engine, with Power Vision. Has a D&D 2 into 1 exhaust with big bore baffle. 160hp and 168tq. Very impressive combo.
I know this post is about a month old Im also seeing some good numbers on a tuned 135, not as good as this shop but good numbers. In your original post you mentioned these numbers and a 2yr warranty. These numbers were achieved using a PV tuner, warranty void.
I had a FM 128 build and 2 HD 131 builds. IMO opinion aftermarket is the way to get the most for your $$$. HD makes good parts, ok power if you want EPA compliant with a warranty. My warranty just expired on my 131, time for a cam swap and more . Should be around 160/160..
