I do not mean this sarcastically: it might be time to consider a Honda. My '22 Gold Wing was quiet like a sewing machine. Just not nearly as cool as a Harley. And consequently, traded for a new Harley. Which is noisy, because, well...that's their nature.

As for the Honda: I have nothing against Honda, or the other Japanese brands. The make some very nice equipment. However, I'm SO upside-down with my Sport Glide that I'm going to be keeping it for the foreseeable future, just to try and get my stack of $100 bills back out of it. Great bike, looks and sound still make me all glassy-eyed, but f**k me, it's a money pit!
