Engine Mechanical TopicsDiscussion for motor builds, cams, head work, stripped bolts and other engine related issues. The good and the bad. If it goes round and around or up and down, post it here.
Due to all the scoring and the internal gerotors stuck together and the teeth smashed I'm sure the culprit is the pump. Is there supposed to be a gasket between the cam plate and pump. When I pulled it apart there was not one.
Crank runout measurement was suggested back in post #6. Maybe to OP doesn't have the tools to check; several ways to do it and a picture of one way is attached. I am thinking the oil pump at the metal bits from the phuked up tensioner.:icon:shrug:

Doubt its stock due to how it would run compared to my buddies 107. Along with finding the seh203 cams in it as well.
Well, if someone put an aftermarket crank in or welded the stock crank, it was really a bad decision to leave the OEM chain tensioners in there. If the crank is that straight, I would have went gear drive and used another brand of cams that accommodate gear drive.
That's good news. I believe the pump ate the metal bits from the phuked up tensioner and destroyed the oil pump. BTW, the Daytona pump has increased capacities on scavenge and feed sides. Keep us posted on the repair. https://www.wwag.com/en/daytona-oil-...win-cam-62-074
Need more pictures; internal pump cavity where the gerotors ride, gerotors and back side of cam plate where the pump rides.
Definitely debri run thru that pump. Cut the filter open and have a look see. But I'd be more worried about what isn't there and where it went.
Get yourself a FSM. You're about to get a crash course in engine disassembly/assembly.
Good luck...
