I would want to flush out cam chest and crankcase as best as possible before reassembly. Including oil lines, oil cooler. Replace cam plate. Crud is probably still in there. Pull plug at bottom of crankcase and drain oil. Debris that went through the pump is still in motor and maybe oil pan. Clean as much as you can.

Exactly. I wouldn't stop at draining the crankcase, tho. A good flush and blowing out oil passages, etc. Same with the oil tank. Basically a complete tear down is in order imo..
