Engine Mechanical TopicsDiscussion for motor builds, cams, head work, stripped bolts and other engine related issues. The good and the bad. If it goes round and around or up and down, post it here.
As some of you may know, I posted about my wife's Dyna's Rocker Box leak and the failed first repair. Well after successfully doing them again and having no leaks I changed the oil and filter. And found this stuff in the filter media. I like to inspect my filters for reasons just like this.
I think it's gasket material because of the orange on it. Question is, will it be a problem or did it all wash out into the filter?
I believe on a EVO Dyna the oil is filtered after the engine and before the return to the oil tank. So, kinda worried. What do you guys think?

I don't think it's a big deal and wouldn't split the case for a few pieces of gasket. If it were mine, I'd change the oil, clean out the tappet screen and forget about it.

I just tend to over think things I guess. Tappet Screen was super clean.
