Has anyone had experience installing an oil temp sensor on the S&S T 124 motor since its oil routing takes over the usual oil pan location? If so what fitting and location did you use?

Not sure if there's room down there to put a "T" fitting in at either the supply or return lines to install a temp sensor, but then again, I don't know if I'd really want to possibly impede the oil flow either.
Thought about an oil temp gauge on the dipstick? Hard to read on the road, but at least you'd be able to look at stop lights and gas stations.
The hook up for the temperature sensor is located in the oil pan. Doesn't matter what motor you have in there or how the oil lines are routed. The goal is to read the oil temperature in the oil pan.
