New lifters needed ? Stage 2

Thankyou all for reply. I dont think the oem lifters are that bad. Replace is just to be more safe. My mileage per year is only 1500-2000miles. Has the 117 engine different lifters than 107/114 , like screaming eagle ones ??

I'm pretty sure they're the same

There seems to be no real issues with the stock lifters failing in the m8's. I swapped cams at 1700 miles and reused the stock lifters. I've done 2 friends bikes since then that had 10k and 18k miles on them and they wanted lifters replaced. Their stocks looked just fine when I tossed them in the trash.

I have dicided to replace the lifters and tapping cufs, just to be shure and the small cost. The model is 22 , do they still use red loctite on the cuffing bolt ? I want to replace the lifters from above. So heating the bolt is going te be a challange to not melt the plastic cuffs.

The ones I have done didn't require any heating to get out. Just be easy like you're running a tap. Turn out a little then in a partial turn, then out again.
