Hi there, just in the process of restoring my 90 model Grey Ghost and wondering if any of you kind people would be kind enough to guide me in the right direction on a camshaft and springs to suit a set os 10:1 compression pistons,Ive got new S&S lifters so theyre good to go.
The bike will be mainly used for 2 up with some hooning on,so more looking for low to midrange,it certainly wont be reved hard,I got other bikes for that 😊
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Matt
A grey ghost is light enough, my preference would be the Andrews ev46 if its just me hotroding around. If I planned on 50% two up Id go ev27. I think 10:1 is a waist with a ev13.
The SE-3 is pretty much redundant to the ev-27, so wasnt sure it thats what was meant?

Yeah I don't know why I put the EV-13 in there.. Brain fart.. But the 46 is not gonna get him what he's looking for down low.. Once over 3100 rpm yes...

Honestly at a true 10:1 I dont think you could much tell a difference below 3000 between them, but at 4,000 I think there is a really nice increase over the ev27. And it does sound more drag bike to me than the 27.
