Installing Compensator Sprocket
I had my 06 Road Glide torn down to install a fat tire kit. I had the primary case as part of the install procedure.
Upon putting it back together, I torqued the compensator nut to the recommended 70ft lbs, but getting it to turn another 45 degrees just wasn't working. I was using the prescribed locking block so the sprocket wouldn't turn and I was using a 3 foot breaker bar to turn the nut, but it wouldn't move any further. I had put a couple of drops of lock tight (red) on the threads as recommended in the shop manual and engine oil on the nut and spring pack facing surfaces to aid in the additional turn of the nut but it wouldn't budge beyond the torqued value. Is there something I'm missing here?

I know it has to have been done if they have it in the manual. I've marked the nut and spring pack face so I know where the starting mark and 45 degree mark is, but I'm getting the nut to turn. I know I'm not a light weight in this, as I'm 230lbs and I'm putting quite a bit of my weight on the breaker bar.
