Ok engine gurus'. I'm considering some small upgrades to the stock motor. I'm not building a race bike just want some additional performance yet still be streetable and reliable. So this is what I'm thinking about doing.
I already have the SuperFlow re-cored mufflers so does it make sense to go ahead and add an SE Stage 1 Air Cleaner and change the cam? I'm thinking of going to an SE-255 with the stock cylinders and pistons. I would also be adding a SERT and a Dyno Tune.
Does this make sense or would I be asking for trouble with this combination? Later I would go to 103" but I can't afford to do all that right now.
