Default cam with stock 96?

would you put a cam in a stock 96' motor? but do all the other stages?
I know you all are going to say why not go with big bore kit. I'm just wondering if anyone has gone this route?
thank for any input.

Yes - I put in a Stage I kit and SEST to make the changes to the EFI then rode it a few thousand miles and after some research, decided to add a cam. The Head Quarters 500 Hurricane cam gave it a pretty good boost in seat of pants performance. Still at 96 CID - no head work, etc. That was the correct order to change performance parts and still leaves it open to going big bore without having to do anything I did before over. HTH

Hey Dreamer - Head Quarters has a msg board set up for people thinking about getting their bike performanced. Kevin Baxter did the cam work on my Twin Cam. There is lots of knowledge on that board and the people are very helpful. Take a look. http://hqperformance.freeforums.org

Dreamer....I went the same route your going...Started with AN Big sucker air cleaner, true duals and a SERT. Made a huge difference over stock. I just recently put in a set of Cycle-Ram 575 cams and their custom MAP for my setup... What a difference they made! Actually can feel it in the seat of your pants. I did all the work my self, so I don't have dyno sheets or such....I am very satisfied with the out come.
