Noisy cams/followers
When i ride for at least an hour i have noticed the valve train gets really noisy (same as when you first start up and no oil in hydraulic lifters) and loses power. The oil level is okay and have replaced filter oil etc. The oil pressure light doesn't come on but can this be caused by the oil pressure relief valve sticking in the bypass position or symtomatic of something worse?.

Just seems like the top end is really rattly; Sometimes the rattlin noise is there and others not. I keep the oil changed and I only have 1500 miles on the bike. So far I have changed the oil three times. Runs good tho, and sound goes away when driving it harder. I'm not a mechanic and I'm not going to work on it.

Problem solved
I have replaced the oil pressure relief valve spring and all is good now. Old spring was distorted and weak keeping valve open. Easy fix once you can get the spring and worth doing as will cause damage because you get very little oil to the top end and cam followers.
