2010 ultra classic with a loud high-pitched chirping sound. Can anyone help? Had front cylinder removed and checked. Was told everything was "within spec paramaters" (for whatever that means). Was told the noise was normal (not so) The noise is driving me crazy. Thanks.

 

This is a longshot but worth looking at. I had chirping that drove me crazy. Sounded like engine noise but was actually a muff clamp that was rubbing on the rear brake rod. Loosened the clamp, turned it, problem solved.

Would have been nice if the engineers hadn't put the two so close together but oh well.

 

Head Gasket?
