OK... Lay it on me Bro, I'll give it a shot. Jazzhog@gmail.com Doesn't sound to complex from what I'm hearing. All I needed was a good swift kick in the butt to get me motivated. Thanks for the feedback fellas...

I got the instructions for the PR's. I'll study them and then attempt to do the job. Thanks again

I just reread the first post and realize how old the bike is.

You likely have the old plastic breathers in your rockerboxes. They are cheap to change for the metal ones. (the plastic ones warp with age). The metal replacements are inexpensive.

Point being, you might want to go the rockerbox route, and stay with your stock pushrods. You can upgrade the breathers and still be money ahead, even after buying gaskets.
Assuming you are doing the work yourself.

I would go with Screamin' Eagle ez install pushrods, preferably the tapers (it's what I am using). They come with what you need to make the original pushrod covers work and a very good set of instructions. They cost about $125-135. It's not a difficult procedure, take your time and you'll get through it ok.

Stonecold54, Would you happen to have the part number for the SE set? That sounds like the ones I'm looking for. Especially since I can re-use the original covers. Thanks

I have the adjustable pushrods, and stock tubes, and I had a bitch of a time trying to get them to stop hitting the inside of the tubes. Especially the front tube.
I took photos and did a sort of writeup of what I did. I have posted this before on the forum, but I'll post the link again in case it helps anyone out.
