Ok,new question. I am still looking at lifters and after all the research I am torn between the woods directionals and the S&S lifters. any one have any experiance with these? thanks in advance!

I have the "C" lifters in the bike now and i am putting in the andrews 57H cam in and its got a .570 lift. i was told i should change them out. i am torn on putting new ones in.

Hi,if you have an original factory lifters you dont need to change,because in the 110+ SE engine also have those.And in the 110+ SE engine have a SE 266 cams with .660 lift.So for the 57H not neccesary to change.But if you want to change i recommend for you a Jims Powerglide tappets,i think the best and strongest.I always use those.
I builded up 2 weeks ago a 117" engine from a 2012 Road King and used a factory lifters,i used a S&S 640 cams.

thanks, I wondered about that and what they used. if i ever need to change them that is a easy deal to change, no major removal to get to them.

Yes,is not difficult to change later,if you use a quickee pushrods.When you will to change the cams,you change the rods also and later possible to easy to work on the timing parts,without removing the valve covers.I use always S&S "quickee" rods with tubes.
