most if not all of the successful performance motors are built by proven formulas.
velocity is a part of some formulas.
large volume throttle bodies don't always factor in.

I saw the price for the 58mm throttle body the other day in the Sreamin' Eagle catalog, and it was something like $500 as a separate purchase!!

I don't see many truly high performing motors being built with HD equipment.

Interested in seeing my numbers.....I think we'll be pretty close.
even with a stock t. body, run the bigger injectors (5.3).finished a 107"/585 with 1.900 street port headwork that went 112/124,your stage III heads should go 115+ no prob

YAH TRUE THAT Mud. I would never attempt making a high hp build with harley aftermarket kits....haven't seen great numbers from those that did go the HD route.

Many that would put a hell of a smile on my...bigger than the one I have now. I"ll get her dynoed some time mid season and post the graph and numbers.
Kirby, you think a 50mm w/ 4.9 injectors (stock 46mm w/ 3.91 right now) would give me much extra (thinking injectors alone should bump things up).
No one here ever seems to talk about what kind of Dynos they are tuning on. There are huge differences between different manufacturers. I've been told there is conservatively a 10% difference from a Super Flow to a Dynojet.

Because no one cares, we don't ride dyno sheets. Dynos are a tuning tool, nothing more.
