ticking/rattle from engine

Default ticking/rattle from engine
I have a 2012 RK and it seems that over the winter it has developed a tick/rattle. I thought it was lifter noise but I have a 2012 RG right next to it and that engine has no ticking what so ever. Last year I think the ticking on the RK was there but not as loud. I've checked oil level and it seems fine. I have the Harley synthetic in for all my fluids. Any idea?

I'd try a conventional 20W50 motorcycle oil, like Spectro.
Those "C" lifters have a poor reputation as it is.
