Default Bag Question

Being lazy today and planing a paint job on the EVO 97 EG. One saddle bag has a Deep scratch 1/4"wide 2-3" long. The glass is feathered up so not all the way trough but 1/2 the thickness or so. What little fiberglass repair I have done I NOT enjoy doing. I am wondering if 3m panel repair would be ok to use? Anyone used this or something similar to repair fiberglass? I'll see if I can get a pic off what I'm asking about using. Open to suggestions do's and don'ts

Thanks WP

Ok here is a link to what I saw used to repair a cracked and gouged outer fairing. It cured and was sanded and painted. Came out great best I could tell.

I gave up on that a good while ago
Not that she needed much. That's why I married her.

Yup, Bondo or "Bog" as we call it here is designed for that very purpose. You will need to grind the feathers back and give it a "V" cross section if you want a flawless finish...and use knifing stopper for the final stage before you primer it.
