Default New Day, New Problem

Friday I rode to work, 30 miles, the temperature was in the high 30s. The bike ran OK, but on the way home, around 70 degrees, and I notice when coming to, and stopped a stop sign, the engine was surging, from around 900 rpms, up to about 1400 rpms. The rpms were going up and down.
Is that a temperature sensor problem?
Thanks in advance.

Going out on a limb and guessing it's MM EFI.

Intake gaskets, just got mine fixed, for that exact thing, prior to doing that I replaced the ETS, that did nothing.

Sorry, 1996 Ultra Classic FI. I replaced the intake gaskets back in the summer. I will check to make sure that the nuts are tight, then replace the air temperature sensor.

I picked up a air temp sensor from the HD shop and installed it last Saturday, haven't had a chance to ride it, but it idled ok in the garage. I fixed a major squeak while I was working on it, the exhaust pipe cover on the Patriot exhaust, was against the floor board causing the noise.
