A while back I decided to go from 12" to 16" bars.
In preparation I bought 4 over cables and extended all my wires by 4" and thought I would be good to go.
Boy was I wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The throttle cables are fine (I still don't know about the clutch cable) but all the switch wires were way too short!!!!!!
I really hope the clutch cable works!!!!!!!!
Yesterday I extended all the switch wires by 9" and thought I would have plenty to spare. I think it will work but not much to spare.

Where did you buy the cables and wiring? When I put 12" bars on my Dyna I was able to use all the factory cables and wiring, just had to reroute throttle cables. I'm planning on putting 14"s on it after Santa gets here and was planning on ordering +3 cables and +6" on the wiring but now I'm not sure.

I don't think you need +3 on the cables.
I get my stuff from a local leather shop that also orders parts.
I once read from a wise feller on HD Forums that one should measure old bars, new bars, then subtract difference (no matter what new bar maker says his bars are). Then, measure old cables, add the difference above, and you have your new cable length. Any other method leads to re -ordering...
