When I did my bars on my sporty almost 9 yrs ago was order the bars off of eBay. It came with pre run wires did a little splicing to make them work. And when I mounted the bars in the position I liked ran some string to get correct measurements for all 3 cables. I think one of the better ways to get correct length

I always just buy a 48" extended wiring kit and then I can route the cables how I need to and cut them once I know where the cables are gonna end.

When cutting and splicing the wires I noticed some corrosion on the existing wires so I will do it your way next time.
