ok, a dumb one here. i have a 1984 FLHTC and i am rebuilding her this winter... now.... is their a list of the bolts to put back on the bike? i want it all stock....
there is only 8 studs and 8 bolts that are hard to find for an 84 as long as they are not broke you can reuse your old ones or upgrade to the new style.

I don't know if the paper parts book for an '84 has the same stuff as the one for my '95 but in the back of mine it gives me all the bolt lengths and thread sizes and the washer sizes.

In addition to that it also gives the grade/strength of the bolt.
The one definitive source is indeed the parts book. I don't believe the on-line parts websites have the extra info that the parts books do. The book is still available and well worth having.

Looks like you have info re. list. I used quite a few new OEM Nuts & Bolts on my 91 Ultra rebuild and was surprised how reasonably priced they were
(here in UK)from the Main Stealership. I had thought about looking for non OEM parts but happy now that I went down the Stealership road.
